Deo is the pickiest little eater I've ever seen. I try and try to make him eat different things but he isn't very cooperative. He doesn't eat any veggies, at all! I am actually worried about his nutrition because he eats so poorly. But if he doesn't like it, he just won't eat it. And I rather him eat something than nothing at all. I've gotten him to eat broccoli and green beans once or twice (with a ton of butter on them) but the next time he sees them he turns his nose up at them. Today I made 3 different meals trying to get him to eat something other than his regular foods (which are: fish sticks, pancakes, waffles, egg & cheese sandwich, chicken nuggets, cereal and various crappy snacks) and in the end he ended up having a bagel and cream cheese for supper. Also he is so dramatic when I put something in his mouth he doesn't like, he gets so mad. He wouldn't even try the 2nd meal I made for him, just by looking at it. Thank god for vitamin supplements.
He loves any food we order when we get chinese or japanese though. He eats well at the sushi-thai restaurant. But I can't afford for him to be eating there all the time! If only I could cook like that. And I have tried to get recipes and make them at home but he isn't as excited about the food I make. I guess he eats better when we dine out in general. Again I would love to see him eat well like that everyday but thats way too expensive. I have a 1 year old that only likes to dine out!

In one of my foods classes in college we had a bunch of recipes that hide veggies for picky kids. And they were so good that no one would have ever known. They were pretty labor intensive but maybe woth it. I'll see if I can dig them up for you.
