Haven't posted in a while...The last week and a half has been crazy. Our beloved Rupa the doggie was missing for a couple days in massachusetts so Deo and I hopped on a plane to come and help look for her. But before we went to the airport she was found - but I decided to go anyway and see my family for a little bit. The plane was delayed that day for 3 hours so the whole traveling time totaled over 7 hours. He did okay but they wouldn't let me bring any food in for him (the new no liquids rule) so I had to be innovative and find things he could eat in the airport. I guess we made it through on fig newtons and a banana.
We have now been here a little over a week and are going home tomorrow morning. Pray for no delays!
Deo is all over everything....this last week I was on the verge of tears numerous times. He was just crying all the time and so hard to handle. I then noticed he was a little warm and took him to the hospital and sure enough he had another ear infection. so i guess that is why he was being so bad, which is understandable - ear infections are very painful. I think it must be pollen or something here because this is the second one he got while he was visiting here. He hasn't had a problem at home. And FOUR of his teeth on the top are coming in! all at the same time! That must be very painful also. He is going to have all these teeth and not look like a baby anymore. :(
He is also cruising all around, I think he will be walking in 2 weeks max. I remember when he was about to crawl, I said in 2 more days he would be crawling and sure enough he was.
He had some time with Grandpa and the Doggie. He loves the doggies! He says Dog Dog Dog and doggie all the time. Its funny how he was so interested in saying doggie, he just tried and tried to say the g sounds until he got it right. It doesnt always come out right, more like dag or dogga. But he chases after her and scares her a lot so I am going to wait a little while longer to bring the dog home. They actually had an accident the other day and the dog crashed into him...it was really scary and he hit his head hard. I was freaking out, thank god he was okay. he just moves so fast it would be stressful to make sure he is safe around the dog at all times if I brought her home right now. She doesnt mean to hurt him but if she gets excited or scared or something, you just never know and it doesnt help that he wants to chase her and touch her all the time.
I got one day of rest while I was here, my dad took him all day and paid for a massage for me, and I got my nails done and did some shopping. Wow it is amazing to just be able to go somewhere and get in and out of the car with just yourself and your purse...But I did miss him and think about him the whole time - you can never really fully rest!
I will post pics tomorrow from our trip.
Oh yeah we when to the local fair thing today. He wasn't too impressed with the carousel, thought the donkeys and goats in the petting zoo were doggies and cried when grandpa brought him to see the big bears.
