We went to the doctor today and he had to get a shot and a finger prick. Not nice. But the doctor said everything was fine and he is tall for his age, average weight, and a small circumference of his head. The doctor and I talked about how he doesn't sleep through the night because that is when he nurses, and about "giving up the breast" (as he said) when he is 1 year old. That is going to be rough. I'm dreading it already. Here are some pictures of the toilet paper monster.

When my mom was very sick with cancer, everyone would leave their babies at home when they came to visit her. She got so mad at them and begged them to bring their kids because she said that "kids are healing". I think these pictures define that for us. They help us remember that life isn't as complex as we adult have to make it. They remind us to enjoy the little things....even if it is a roll of toilet paper!
