Deo is starting to talk a lot more now. He walks around babbling alot in gibberish and also he says: truck, duck, quack, ball, airplane, hi, bye, pato (yes his first spanish word!) and maybe a couple others I can't think of right now. He understands everything we say now, its really amazing to talk to him and see how he is interacting with us. He is so funny, he makes me laugh all the time with his big personality.
He is sleeping in his room in his big boy bed right now.

He will wake up later and come find me but at least its a start. You have to start somewhere.....
He is sick right now and in the past 2 days we have gone to the hospital twice. Once he had a reaction to my tanning lotion and today he had a fever over 103. He puked all over me in the waiting room too, he has some kinda bug that is going around. I hope he is feeling better tomorrow. As you can see he wasn't that bad, the video was taken after the hospital and all dosed up with ibuprofen. But it is hard to imagine how bad he looked just a couple hours before that video when he was burning up.
He seems to be getting worse at the gym's daycare instead of getting better. I hope he gets better, I am really addicted to working out now. Ilich is going to watch him in the morning tomorrow while I go to the gym since he is sick and he can't go there.
We have gone swimming a couple of times this week and he loves it soooo much. I just bought him a swimsuit with the floats on it, we will see how that goes this week.
He loves being with Ilich more and more now that Ilich can go to work later on the weekdays. They have tubby time together and play ball in there. He is daddy's little boy.

Oh my God! Deo just went to bed in his portable crib all by himself and didn't cry. Also I have been starting to wean him from the boob. I have been shutting off all the lights lately when its bed time and laying there in bed with him until he falls asleep. I wasn't holding him and nursing like I used to but laying next to him and letting him nurse for just a minute or two and thats it. So today he kept making his noise that means he wants the breast and rolling around while I was laying in bed with him. So finally I got sick of laying there in the dark and my intentions were to let him cry in his crib and maybe he would fall asleep, but I put him in there and didnt here a peep. Awesome.
I also went and looked at the Montessori school today with Alohi. We loved it. It was so cute and had so many things to so, you walked by the window and saw all the little kids busy at work. I was disappointed that it was only 3 hours a day but it is the best place for him to learn. And as they get older they can stay there 6 hours, but probably for the first year it will be 3. He needs to adjust to it anyway. He can start this september. It is sooo expensive.
Deo and I have also been going to the Gym. The gym for me that is, and he goes to the daycare there. It is now our 3rd day going there and he seems to be getting used to it. He screamed the whole time the first day, he was a mess. Now he screams when I drop him off and when I come and get him he is busy playing with the toys. This is a nice transition to school. I am excited that I am working out! I have a lot more energy and I can't wait to lose the fat I STILL have from being pregnant. It is also nice to get sometime to myself at the gym while Deo is in the daycare.
I have also been very strict on Deo's naps lately. Well very strict with his schedule in general. We wake up at 6 or 7, eat a little, I lay around in his room until 8:30 and he watches Disney, we eat a bigger breakfast and get ready to go to the gym, then it is the gym for an hour or hour and a half, go home, eat lunch and NAP. After that we can go to the park or whatever. He takes pretty long naps in the afternoon. Then tubby from 7 to 7:30 and bedtime at 8 or 8:30. Then I work my butt off around the house and do Ebay, go to bed around 12 anddo it all again the next day. geez

Here is the video I promised.
He is going to kill himself on that thing! It is more than 3 feet off the ground...very dangerous. But he loves it of course. I have it hidden in my room with a blanket over it so he can't climb up it and ride a no handed rodeo when no one is looking. Horsey time requires serious supervision. That thing was a pain to put together also. You have to be a mechanic to be a parent.
He was also climbing all over it and stealing tools when I was putting it together...that didn't make it any easier. I was very impressed though with his hand/eye coordination when he stole the screwdriver and started to screw in the bolts that I already put up. He would put put the tip in the screw no problem.

We had a great time in mass with my Dad and family. It was cold, but not too cold...and I didnt even use the snow boots I bought for Deo! Deo loves Grandpa sooo much and loved spending so much time with him. I loved it too, sleeping in and going shopping by myself...it was great! It was so special to have everyone together for Deo. I almost feel bad bringing him back here to be with just me most of the days. He played with Gina and even gave her hugs and kisses on his own. He wouldnt do it if you told him to but we caught him hugging her a couple of times. He chased Rupa the doggie around the house and she is still scared of him. But he ate excellent with my dad, and slept great there too. He didnt get any ear infections or colds at all, thank god!
He was okay on the plane ride up there, he screamed for like 5 mins before we took off and then slept most of the way. My new trick is to sit in the way back of the plane where the engines are, I think the sound of the engine helps him sleep. It was wonderful having Ilich to help on the way back, and he slept most of the way then too (and I did too!)
Deo got alot of toys for christmas, most of them stayed at Grandpas and a few things are coming this way. I bought him the bouncy horse, it is not together yet- but when it is you will sure see a video on here!
